It was the culmination of their longtime desire to open a restaurant in the United States, the land of opportunity, after leaving their hometown of Cuidad Guzmán, Jalisco, Mexico to pursue their dream of a brighter future. Today, El Pollo Norteño® continues to be family-owned and operated, with Alfonso and Karina Corona and their three children at the helm.
