Pivot Charter Schools allows students to access their courses online or from our convenient campus. We serve students in grades 6-12 who need an alternative to the traditional classroom. Pivot Charter Schools have been successfully providing independent study, distance learning and online/blended learning programs for over a decade. Pivot Charter School Riverside offers a unique and customized tuition free public education. Pivot staff are incredibly dedicated to ensuring all students have a path to success in school. Our program allows students to access their courses from the comfort of their own home and participate in activities and classes at our welcoming and safe resource center. Pivot’s primary focus is to determine what each student needs to be successful in their academic endeavors and provide the support, guidance and encouragement that will help every student feel more capable, comfortable and confident in school. Because our courses can be taken 100% online, you will experience a flexibility and individualization that the traditional, structured classroom environment cannot offer. The online curriculum allows our teachers to focus on identifying each student’s individual needs and create customized educational paths to meet those needs. Some students attend the resource center to meet with teachers, participate in direct instructional classes as well as socialize with others in student-driven clubs, field trips, or when participating in community service projects.
